He is possibly:
- Rev. Frederick Charles Spencer (1796-1831), the son of John Spencer of Wheatfield, Oxfordshire. He entered Christ Church, Oxford in 1813, aged 17, earning a B.A. in 1818 and an M.A. in 1820. He was Rector of Wheatfield, Oxfordshire, 1820-31.[1]
